We are looking for a mid-career account-based marketing manager to develop and manage account-based marketing programs that support our account-specific sales objectives and drive the pipeline in our most strategic markets. This position will report to the Director of Account-Based Marketing. It’s an exciting opportunity because OwnBackup has traction across geographies, verticals, and company sizes.
Your Day-to-Day Role
- Form close relationships with the account team (AEs, ADRs, SEs) and extended marketing and sales operations team.
- Understand the account management and sales processes, the objectives of the account team, and support their strategy with marketing programs that achieve their business goals and grow their business.
- Develop, execute and manage the ABM strategy for a set of named accounts.
- Own customized account journeys and provide proactive, long-term support for the accounts under your charter.
- Work with broader marketing functions and agencies where required based on the account context to deliver integrated sales and marketing campaigns.
- Work with vendors, agencies, and broader marketing team where possible to produce new ABM assets.
- Provide sales enablement for ABM programs under your charter for the account team.
- Proactively communicate and educate the sales and marketing team regarding active and planned marketing activities and ABM campaign effectiveness.
- Track, measure and report all ABM activity based on program successes and KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through experimentation with new tactics, better audience segmentation, and processes.
Your Work Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience leading B2B account-based marketing campaigns and programs in a fast-growth environment.
- Demonstrated history of managing, multi-channel initiatives including events, webinars, email, and paid media campaigns.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a distributed organization to plan, build and execute complex campaigns and programs.
- Demonstrated experience with data-driven demand generation campaigns and hands-on experience building and analyzing reports in CRM/analytics software.
- Familiarity with SFDC reporting and ABM tech stack.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Bonus if you are familiar with the ITSMA process.
